Applying for Financial Aid

The  (school code 002765) serves as the official application for institutional need-based aid and federal aid.  If you are an International undergraduate student (non-US citizen), only a  (school code 2400) is required to be considered for need-based institutional aid.  If you are a resident of NYS,鈥�. To ensure adequate processing time, we recommend that you file your CSS Profile and FAFSA as per the deadlines below. 

  • Be sure to provide a valid Social Security Number on the Admission Application or directly to Student Financial Services. 

Application Types

Early Decision I and Early Decision II are binding admission programs which require a deposit. The Early Decision I deposit deadline is February 15 and the Early Decision II deposit deadline is March 1. 

Timeline for Early Decision I Applicants:

  • September: Create an FSA user ID and password for all FAFSA contributors at studentaid.gov
  • October: Complete the using Marist鈥檚 School Code: 002765 
  • November 15: Priority deadline to complete the FAFSA
  • Late December (Rolling notifications): Award notifications emailed to students with completed FAFSAs
  • February 15: Marist deadline for first year enrollment deposit

Once a deposit is made: Students who have received a financial aid package should log on to my.Marist to view and complete additional requirements. 

Timeline for Early Decision II Applicants:

The is required for all International Applicants seeking need-based institutional aid. Please note, the college is unable to provide full scholarships. Marist's CSS Profile School Code is 2400. 

  • October 1: Complete the using Marist鈥檚 School Code: 2400 
  • November 15: priority deadline for Early Decision I Applicants and Early Action Applicants. 
  • February (Rolling Notification): Award notifications emailed to students with a completed on file. 
  • February 15: priority deadline for Early Decision II Applicants and Regular Decision Applicants. 
  • May 1: Marist deadline for first year enrollment deposit 

Timeline for Spring Transfer Applicants 

  • October 鈥� December: Update Federal 2026-27 FAFSA School Code to 002765 and add 2400 to CSS Profile (international students only) for Spring transfer applications.
  • October (Rolling Notification): Award notifications emailed on a rolling basis to Spring admitted students with completed FAFSAs

Once deposit is made: Students who have received a financial aid package should log on to myMarist to view and complete additional requirements.

* Transfer students' deposit deadline is typically two to three weeks after acceptance

Timeline for Fall Transfer Applicants 

  • October: Complete the 2026-27 using Marist鈥檚 School Code: 002765 
  • March: Award notifications emailed on a rolling basis for Fall admits.

Once deposit is made: Students who have received a financial aid package should log on to myMarist to view and complete additional requirements. 

* Transfer students' deposit deadline is typically two to three weeks after acceptance. 

Timeline for Italy Four Year Degree Program Applicants

This program has Rolling Admissions.  Please complete the 2026-27 using Marist鈥檚 School Code: 002765 as soon as possible to prevent your financial aid notification from being delayed. May 1 is the Marist deadline for first year enrollment deposits.
